Refund & Return Policy

At Fine Modesty, every piece we curate is chosen with love, care, and purpose. We want you to feel confident in every purchase. While we strive to ensure your satisfaction with every purchase, we understand that sometimes a return is needed. This return policy is designed to guide you through the process while keeping everything clear, fair, and transparent for all.

Return Window

  • You may request a return within 14 days of your order being marked as delivered.
  • All return shipments must be postmarked within this 14-day period.
  • Returns requested or sent after 14 days of delivery may not be accepted.

Item Condition

  • Returned items must be in original, unused condition: unworn, unwashed, with all tags attached, and in their original packaging.
  • Items not meeting these requirements will not be eligible for an exchange or store credit.

Final Sale & Exclusions

  • Sale, discounted, and clearance items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.
  • Pre-order items are non-refundable. If a pre-order is canceled by you, store credit may be issued (no monetary refunds).
  • Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.

Customer Responsibility & Costs

What is Redo?
To make returns easier, we offer Redo Return Protection at checkout for only $1.98.

  • Unless you purchased Redo Return Protection at checkout, customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • If you purchased Redo ($1.98 at checkout), your return shipping label is covered and you can return any eligible item(s) for a free exchange, refund, or store credit.
  • Redo must be purchased at the time of your original order and covers all eligible items in that same order.

Initiating a Return on Redo

  1. Start your return by visiting our return portal:   https://finemodesty.com/apps/redo/account
  2. Submit your request following the portal instructions.
  3. Once approved, you’ll receive detailed return instructions.
  4. Use the provided Redo label (if purchased) or a trackable shipping service.
    • If the package is lost because proper protocol was not followed, Fine Modesty is not responsible and no refund or store credit will be issued.

Refunds & Store Credit

  • Approved returns will be refunded to your original payment method or issued as store credit, as applicable.
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Policy exceptions cannot be granted except as required by law.

Defective or Incorrect Items

  • If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 days of delivery. We will arrange for a replacement, exchange, or refund as required.
  • This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Refund Timeframes

  • After receiving and inspecting your returned item, we will process your refund, exchange, or store credit within 5–7 business days.
  • If approved, you will receive an email confirmation. Refund times may vary based on your bank or payment provider.

Pre-Order Items

  • Pre-order items are non-refundable.
  • Pre-order cancellations may receive store credit only (no cash refunds).
  • Fine Modesty reserves the right to cancel any pre-order at any time without prior notice.
  • Pre-order items typically ship 3–5 business days after the product becomes available at our facility.

Shipping & Responsibility

  • Fine Modesty is not responsible for lost or undelivered packages once they have been transferred to the shipping carrier.
  • Always use the provided Redo shipping label or a trackable shipping service for your own protection.
  • Returns sent without prior approval, outside of the portal, or outside of the Redo protocol will be automatically rejected and not processed.
